❤ LOVE A BULLS ❤

LOVEABULLS is excited to announce Rare Colored French Bulldog puppies available from time to time to approved homes! Check out our Facebook page for more info!

Loveabulls is a small but elite breeder of Rare Colored French Bulldog. We fell in love with the breed and have fashioned our whole lives around our dogs! Doesn’t everyone? We purchased a 14 acre ranch just outside of Kamloops, BC so the dogs would have lots of space to run and play.

Our Bulldog babies are part of our family. We love to spread the joy that our puppies bring to approved families!

Fun Faqs Rare Colored Frenchie Bulldog

Rare Colored French Bulldog

The Frenchie Bulldog is a breed of domestic dog. They are the result of a cross between Toy Bulldogs imported from England and local ratters in Paris, France, in the 1800s.

Frenchie Bulldogs are among the most popular breeds in the world. Currently the American Kennel Club ranks them at number 4 in their long list of most desirable. These dogs make their point communicating with expressive eyes, energetic attitude and possibly the Frenchie Talk.

Frenchie Bulldogs are excellent watch dogs who adapt well to family life or single. They don’t mind being inside most of the time. They get along well with cats and other pets and they like to make friends with your guests and family who drop by. No wonder this a favorite dog for city life from Canada to the US and Europe.

Frenchie bulldog breed comes in different coat color variations. You can find them in acceptable AKC color standards such as fawn, brindle, cream, and white, as well as in rare lilac, Isabella, blue, chocolate, and sable coats.

French Bulldog

In discussing the history of the French Bulldog, we should note the importance of three countries: England, France and America. England provided the foundation for our modern Frenchie: the old bulldog. Breeders in France developed the smaller bulldogs into a distinctly “French” type and American breeders set the standard that prescribed the all-important “bat ears.” We begin with the bulldog in England, where so many of our AKC breeds originated. The ancestral type was not our modern bulldog but the bulldog of 150-200 years ago: a strong, athletic dog, high on leg, and capable of being used in that barbarous activity called “bull-baiting.”

Breeders began to change the breed

Many English bulldog breeders began to change the breed around this time to a bigger, heavier dog with exaggerated features. Others crossbred them with terriers resulting in the bull-and-terrier breeds used for dogfighting, ratting, etc. Another group of breeders developed a smaller, lighter toy bulldog, around 12-25 lbs in weight, having either upright or rose ears, round foreheads and short underjaws—and perhaps a touch of terrier liveliness. These were quite popular with workers in the English midlands, in particular the artisans in the lace-making industry around Nottingham.

It’s our absolute pleasure to recommend Loveabulls.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Jennifer Schell at Loveabulls.  She is knowledgeable, and experienced.  Beyond that, she is honest, dependable, and caring.  Regularly receiving updates via videos, photos, and casual chats, it was easy to trust the process and only added to the excitement and joy of adopting our very own pup.

Best wishes, Rod Sosnowski & Celeste Gaudet
